With recent development and incidents in and around our centre; accumulating of firearms and other forms of weapons. We will one day experience such a fracas of this nature; it wasn’t just the inmates who were killed. Prison chaplain and visiting pastors, staffs and corrupt guards were caught up in the bloody brawl. No pity for those corrupt cops and guards as they are the ones smuggling in firearms and knives to the diverse gangs in Prisons to fuel the gangs violence with the walls of prisons. I hope the authorities in Panama will read and Change their policy towards inmates; provide real rehabilitation programmes, not turning a whole pavilion into a 24HRS Church; where after the services comes the stabbing and plunging of knives or battering with bars of iron and spiking one’s food with poison.

  1. This is horrible. Is this actual footage of people who were killed inside a jail? I have never seen anything like this.

    • Yes! They are true images from a prison in Venezuela. Such things are seen on daily basis in prisons in Latin American countries; follow me on twitter for live feeds of life on the inside: @DoingTimeAbroad
